Secret 7" is a London based fundraising event where artists and designers are invited to submit proposals for the front covers of 7" vinyl sleeves for tracks selected by the organisers, to be pressed, exhibited and then sold to raise money for the years chosen charity. I entered 5 illustrations for the 2018 event; 2 for 'Lover You Should've Come Over' by Jeff Buckley, 2 for 'Castles Made Of Sand' by Jimi Hendrix and 1 for 'I'm Not Down' by The Clash. My pieces weren't selected however I was pleased with the outcomes and the opportunity to work towards a brief to produce music art, something I want to do much more of. You can see an example of music artwork that I produced to commission in the 'Songs of the Lost and Found' project.
